At this time of year, with long nights and cold weather, finding the motivation to move our bodies can be tough! Curling up on the sofa with a warm cuppa or snuggling ever deeper into bed when the alarm sounds is a much more inviting prospect. But moving the body can shake off stagnant energy, negative energy and bring some much needed warmth and freshness to our day. If a long yoga class or workout is just too much, don’t worry, a few short minutes of movement is all you need.
The yoga class below is a quick five minute practice which includes a full body shakedown and some energising breathwork. It’s perfect for when you feel you need to recharge your energy, whether that’s first thing in the morning, during a break at work, or when you just need a quick pick-me-up.
